Driving off from Kuta, passing through Jimbaran bay area, climbing up the curvy roads on the hills overlooking the sea, in around 1 hour and 15 minutes we will arrive at Uluwatu, where a thousand-year-old Balinese sea temple of Pura Luhur stands still against time and water erosion on top of a massive rocky cliff.
The Pura, surrounded by a sacred monkey forest where wild macaques live freely, is Uluwatu's main attraction, and it has hold numerous world celebrity couples's weddings - Uluwatu being famous for its extravagant yet calm deep green emerald sea with glittery turquoise shade, the sunset in Uluwatu is something tourists seek to witness when they come to Bali.
Uluwatu is also a famous luxury residence location where fine holiday mansions and bungalows erect in the middle of a virgin nature.
