Album : Taman Ayun Temple
Pura Taman Ayun, or in English would mean "Temple of Beautiful Garden", is the only known Balinese temple complex with the characteristical Bali traditional multi-roofed structures called "Atap Meru" in Balinese language. Built in the 16th century by Mengwi King (today, the district is still called Mengwi) as a shrine to all Balinese goddess, it has attracted so many tourists and recently it has been nominated as one of World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
